Among the most compelling horological objects in the catalog is the Roger Dubuis Sympathie Bi-Retrograde Perpetual Calendar. Housed in a thirty-seven millimeter case of eighteen-karat pink gold, this automatic timepiece features the caliber RD 5772 movement and is numbered sixteen of a limited run of twenty-eight pieces. The watch is accompanied by its original certificate, a Besançon Observatory chronometer certificate, and a Geneva Seal certificate. The intricate design of the Sympathie case represents the bold aesthetic that Roger Dubuis championed during the early years of his independent brand, combining a highly complex retrograde calendar mechanism with a distinctive, shaped case that stands apart from traditional round dress watches.
The sale also features two distinct examples of the steel Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Daytona "Big Red" from the same era. When Rolex introduced the Cosmograph, it was conceived around motor racing's demanding timing needs, eventually achieving iconic status among collectors. The first example, bearing the name of Anders Mattsson, comes with unique sporting provenance. Mattsson, a FIFA referee from the Åland Islands known as "Mason," received a commemorative medallion, lapel pin, and silver-plated dish from the Qatar Football Association, which accompany the watch. Consigned directly by his family, this manual-wind chronograph runs on the Valjoux 727 caliber. The second "Big Red" Daytona, a reference 6265 with a steel bezel, has remained within the same family since the nineteen-eighties and was inherited by its current owner, offering a remarkably preserved piece of horological history.
For collectors of integrated-bracelet sports watches, the Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800/001 represents a classic choice. Originally introduced in the nineteen-seventies, the Nautilus marked a turning point in luxury watchmaking. Designed by the legendary Gérald Genta, its distinctive porthole-inspired case, integrated bracelet, and unconventional use of stainless steel redefined what a luxury watch could be. This steel watch, measuring thirty-seven and a half millimeters, features an automatic caliber 330 SC movement and was originally purchased pre-owned from Watches of Bond Street in London.
As the bidding progresses toward the close on 27 October 2026, the Roger Dubuis Sympathie carries an estimate of SEK 700,000 to SEK 1,000,000. The Anders Mattsson Rolex Daytona is estimated at SEK 500,000 to SEK 800,000, while the second Daytona is expected to bring between SEK 600,000 and SEK 800,000. Patek Philippe is represented by the Nautilus, estimated at SEK 420,000 to SEK 620,000, and a Perpetual Calendar, estimated at SEK 400,000 to SEK 600,000. Other notable lots include an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, estimated at SEK 350,000 to[7] SEK 450,000[7], a Rolex Day-Date 40, estimated at SEK 320,000 to[8] SEK 380,000[8], and a Rolex Sky-Dweller in white gold, estimated at SEK 270,000 to[9] SEK 300,000[9].
