High-value lots included rare Burgundy whites and mature Bordeaux classics, offered in original wooden cases. The Pomerol region was represented by a six-bottle lot of Château Le Pin, 2000, which was offered in its original wooden case. Another Pomerol highlight, a six-bottle lot of Petrus, 1990, came from a well-maintained trade cellar with all bottles filled into the neck, though the labels were slightly creased and nicked. From the same trade cellar, a ten-bottle lot of Château Lafite Rothschild, 1982, showed typical signs of age, with lightly bin-soiled labels and lightly corroded capsules, yet remained a highly tracked lot of the sale.
