In a sale that closed on 14 September 2026, Julien's Auctions presented its On Air: Bold Luxury event, bringing a curated selection of celebrity-associated fashion and vintage garments to the market. According to the official results published by Julien's Auctions, the boutique sale realized $7,688[1] in total sales, with 10 of 10 lots sold to achieve a perfect 100% sell-through[1] rate.
The auction's top-performing lots were dominated by wardrobe pieces worn and signed by actress Michelle Pfeiffer. These items spanned several of her notable film roles and public appearances from the late 1980s and 1990s. The leading piece of the group was a distressed, oversized double-breasted leather jacket with epaulettes and hip pockets, which Pfeiffer wore in Coolio's 1995 "Gangsta's Paradise" music video—a track featured on the soundtrack for the film Dangerous Minds. The jacket features a Meadowbrook Accessory Company garment tag and Pfeiffer's signature in black marker on the interior button-up closure.
Other notable Pfeiffer memorabilia included an embroidered organza A-line evening dress designed by Cynthia Rowley, which the actress wore to the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of The Story of Us on October 13, 1999. The knee-length cocktail dress, signed by Pfeiffer on the interior lining, features spaghetti straps and a circle pattern woven with gold metallic thread. From the production of Jonathan Demme's 1988 film Married to the Mob, a bi-color blue and gold Sergeant Pepper-style polyester jacket was also sold. The jacket served as a server's uniform in the scene where Pfeiffer's character, Angela de Marco, applies to work at Chicken Lickin'. Additionally, an ombre blue and green velvet overcoat designed by Georgiana von Etzdorf, worn by Pfeiffer during a romantic gondola scene in The Story of Us, was among the signed film wardrobe items that found buyers.

The successful completion of the sale demonstrates the steady appeal of authenticated, photo-matched celebrity wardrobe pieces with direct signatures from the actors who wore them.
