Christie's concluded its Art d'Asie auction, which realized €9,135,823 as 111^[1] of 155 lots sold, achieving a 71.6% sell-through rate^[1]. According to Christie's, which published the official results for the sale, the auction brought together a selection of works from French and European private collections^[2], spanning Chinese works of art, classical and modern paintings, Japanese art, and Himalayan sculpture.

The sale featured a rare monumental gilt-bronze figure of a Karmapa lineage master dating from the 15th century, noted for its scale and devotional significance. Additionally, the auction presented an exceptional impression of Hokusai's celebrated Great Wave from a French private collection, boasting a historical pedigree and provenance traceable to the late 19th century.

By realized value, this is Christie's's #58 sale of 190 concluded this year.
